You're absolutely right, Bill. The Copy as Link option is a very neat method to link to a project or even a folder with a group of projects. This would certainly be very applicable in situations like these.

An additional enhancement: you could add a link for the "Free Play" project to the note for the "Go to Free Play" action. Select the "Free Play" project, right-click and select Copy as Link, then paste in the note field. Now you don't need to go find the "Free Play" project, just click the link.

Thanks very much for taking the time to put some of your experience with OF into writing to share with the rest of us. Definitely some approaches I'll think about incorporating into my own workflow.

A great set of articles for showing how OmniFocus and GTD work really well together. I like these articles on conditions, I haven't put them into practice before but I can see some real benefits that will help some of my "On hold" projects to get started.

Dan,
When you do something like that it only comes across as an advertisement and doesn't really add anything to the conversation.

I don't intend to flame, but just because it's related to GTD doesn't mean that it fits in easy with the context of this post.

If you’d like a tool for managing your time and projects, you can use this application

inspired by David Allen’s GTD:

<a href="http://www.gtdagenda.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.Gtdagenda.com</a>

You can use it to manage and prioritize your goals, projects and tasks, set next actions and

contexts, use checklists, schedules and a calendar.
A mobile version is available too.
