One of the neat new features of OmniFocus 3 on iOS is the ability to open and close disclosure triangles, specifically on the iPhone. Previously this was only available on the iPad. I don’t use the iPad myself so this is a nicety for me. The following is a snapshot of the Filing perspective I use:
The beta continues, and the above is one picture of it. There are bugs being worked out and more features to implement.
I think the filing perspective is pretty nice. (Don’t have access to the beta). I have something similar called “bulk and infrequent”. I also use something for more general daily type tasks. Restock, repair, or replace. My only real complaint with OmniFocus is that it doesn’t have a tag cloud. In some cases, especially with shopping. I can get the task done at a multitude of locations. Or from a planning perspective. I can generate todos from multiple contexts… but need to review/manage them from a different angle. Like project bill of materials/checklists.
