David Sparks has written a comprehensive post on OmniFocus 2 for the iPad.
Tim Stringer has also put together a nice video overview of OmniFocus 2 for the iPad.

I’m really getting into the iPad version now. One of the things that really enhances its use is not the user interface (though it is clearly improved) so much as it is the syncing. The faster and more efficient syncing itself makes the database so much more accessible.
I’m really loving the ability to create and edit perspectives on the iPad version. Since I’m trapped in a Windows world at work, I end up using the iPad version even more than the Mac version. I don’t noodle with my perspectives too much, but it’s nice to have the ability when the need arises.
My only complaint so far is that it now takes more taps than in the previous version to push back the defer (or due) date on a task. The prior version showed the convenience buttons (e.g., +1 day, +1 week, etc.) when you first opened the task editor; now you have to tap on the date field to expose them. I use this function every morning when I have flagged tasks that I know I won’t get to that day and need to defer. It’s a minor loss, though, compared to what has been gained.
That’s a good point. I think that overall, the benefits are very good. The differences between the desktop and iPad versions are now much more related to the interfaces themselves. For example, I can multi-select on the desktop and change all of their defer dates simultaneously. This does not happen often, so it is not a major thing. Particularly for those away from OSX, the new iPad version seems well suited.
Addendum 2014-10-01: Another thought, though is that the desktop still has the “Copy as Link” ability.
