Synthesizer Experiment – Halion 5 and RC48
This weekend, I had fun experimenting with Native Instrument’s RC48 Reverb plugin. The synthesizer is one I built up using Steinberg’s Halion 5.
The RC48 has a neat visualization function that looked like it should be blown up and put on full screen. The following is an improvisation I did to mess around with staccato, legato, and distorted sounds in the context of heavy reverb:
The Moment
Each moment has a beginning, middle, and end.
Each moment is both singular and infinite.
Each moment is best treated with care.

Written in F minor and in 3/4 time. Recorded March 21, 2015 at a live performance in Nitida Ridge.
Smiling Eyes
A relaxing piano piece in F major. Developed in August and September of 2014. Recorded September 20, 2014.
